Text-Connect gives you several ways to forward incoming SMS text messages sent to your ‘Text-Number’.
Most clients choose to forward incoming text messages to their email address and when we set up your new text-connect account this is how it is configured. Copying new text messages to your email account saves you time because you don’t have to keep checking your inbox for new messages.
To change and manage the email address(es) your new text messages are forwarded to simply:
- Log in.
- Click ‘Inbox’ (Left hand menu column.)
- Click ‘Manage’ (Button in centre of screen, next to your text number.)
- Now modify the contents of the ‘Email addresses’ box. If you need to forward text messages to multiple email addresses separate them with commas. You can forward to up to 20 email addresses.
- Click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page.
Forwarding text messages to email is free 🙂
The email address used for forwarding is different to your contact email address which we need for administration. This is found by clicking the ‘Profile’ button at the top of the page and is important to the smooth running of your account.
